Andhika Yusup Maulana is a final year Computer Science student at Universitas Indonesia (UI) with a passion for creating web applications from problem analysis up to product delivery. He is a microservice enthusiast and has expertise in Spring Boot and Java. Andhika is a proactive individual who loves to explore new ideas and make them happen. He is experienced in applying software development processes such as Scrum and Unified Process to understand user's desires and difficulties. As a Backend Engineer at Gojek, Andhika has been improving the API process, raising legacy code coverage, investigating root causes for problems, and migrating Kafka consumer from Avro format to Protobuf format. He is also experienced in RESTful API design and able to blend it with JWT Authentication and CAS protocols. Andhika has improved legacy code hygiene of a service by suppressing known code smell using Checkstyle, resulting in better readability and zero code smell. He has fixed known security issues to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the system. Previously, Andhika has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Bangkit Academy, where he built deep learning models from Chest X-ray using Transfer Learning. He has also deployed and served Machine Learning models to cloud servers with Flask and Docker. Andhika has led a team of 5 people with their own expertise using Kanban methods. He has implemented CRUD with Flask web framework and Firebase NoSQL Database. Andhika has also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus 1 International Class at Universitas Indonesia (UI), where he actively engaged with 39 students as a communication bridge between lecturers and students. He held tutorial sessions to ease hard topics and understand their difficulties periodically. Andhika assessed student's performance along with giving constructive feedback for their assignments. He has managed to create 3 of 7 Calculus-related assignments, including their solutions. Andhika's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitas Indonesia (UI), which he is expected to complete in 2022.
